Among the 250 or so producers of Blanquette de Limoux, Maison Guinot is an estate worth mentioning for its friendly, human-scale approach. Since 1875, blanquette has been produced by hand in a family-run business, with bottling on site and manual riddling of 30,000 bottles daily. During the 45-minute "Bulles et Lumière" tour, you'll discover the cellars and all the stages involved in making this sparkling wine. The tour is completed by a 3D video, and your visit ends appropriately with a tasting.

Outre la visite rafraichissante par temps de canicule, nous avons vivement apprécié les explications de notre guide passionnée sur la fabrication de la blanquette et le crémant de Limoux et appris que la fabrication est antérieure à celle du champagne.
La dégustation fut très agréable et nous sommes repartis avec quelques bouteilles afin de l'apprécier posément dans la fraîcheur du pas de Calais.

Super detailed tour. We observed every part of the cellar and production line. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave several details about the wine making process. The tasting was very delicious. We are very happy with the tour.

Op een onverwachtse plaats zeer enthousiast ontvangen in het winkeltje van Guinot. Super interessante rondleiding en uitleg gekregen over de authentieke productie van de
blanquette en cremant. Hun methode traditionelle wordt tot op de dag gehanteerd met als resultaat: heerlijke cremant en blanquette! Een aanrader!
