ANNA SCOTT CERAMICS
Anna Scott is a British artist who fell under the spell of the Aude many years ago. She has chosen Limoux to set up her studio where she welcomes visitors and presents a permanent exhibition of her creations. Passionate about archaeology, the artist is inspired by themes such as Gallic civilization for example, from which she declines, based on an in-depth observation, the currency or animal representations (owls, fish, wild boars...), thus allowing us to discover the little known aesthetics of this culture which is so rich. Whether in French or Shakespeare's language, she particularly enjoys passing on her knowledge to children. Throughout the year, it offers them free educational workshops, on reservation, during which they can work the clay, advised by the ceramist, and discover the reconstruction of a potter's oven from the Roman period.
