This castle, a former Post Office of the Spanish Road, has been owned by the Abelanet family since 1667. For generations, medals, diplomas and quality wines have been honoured. For over 35 years, bottling has been on the scene, and it has been 20 years since the domain was classified as a castle. Today, Régis, Marie-Françoise and their son Roman have the heavy task of managing a field of 20 hectares of vines classified in AOC Fitou. Beautiful creations from old barrel carignans: La Cuvée Roma and La Cuvée Vieille. Its red wines have beautiful ruby dresses and pink reflections, a nose with ripe fruit notes, hints of raspberry and spices, its soft and round attack "looks like lace…", Jackie Bonnet, master sommelier at Narbonne.

De passage à Fitou avec des amis fin aout, nous avons été super bien accueilli par des propriétaires amoureux de leurs vins et ils ont raison car les vins sont excellents. Un nouveau passage à la cave hier, pour quelques bouteilles, nous avons testé, aujourd'hui à la maison, le "Roma" avec une cote de bœuf, un vrai régal .... A renouveler lors d'une nouvelle visite à la cave pour un nouvel achat. Visite conseillée... Merci pour ce bon moment...

Un vrai plaisir que de rencontrer un propriétaire récoltant passionné qui ne vend qu’en direct et transmet avec conviction son attachement au terroir de Fitou. Les vins sont abordables et ont une vraie identité gustative. Nous aurons plaisir à les partager lors d’apéritifs ou de bons repas.
