The Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine, Europe's largest engineered chasm, is world-renowned for its mineralogical wealth. Giant is not an overused term: it is 250 metres deep, with a volume of over 1,500,000 m³ and a network of over 25 km. Its glass balcony, the only one of its kind in the world, offers an enchanting route through limestone columns and draperies. New for 2025: get up close to the concretions in the aragonite observatory and crystal gallery.

The Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine is one of the 10 most beautiful caverns in Europe, with a depth of 250 metres and a volume of 1,600,000 m³. It is unique in that it contains a diversity of formations unequalled to date.
Guided and commented tours of the Gouffre take place on balconies overlooking it 200 metres from the bottom. New facilities have been installed to enable visitors to discover the wonders of the Gouffre in a completely different and safe way. The temperature is a constant 14°c all year round, so make sure you bring something to cover up with. In low season, tours are audio-guided. You can discover the Gouffre on your own, and stay as long as you like, depending on opening times.
In 2019, the Aventures Parc was created, bringing together two activities. These two more sporting activities take place at the bottom of the Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine.
- L'Accro Grotte de Cabrespine: an underground acrobatic course featuring zip lines, monkey bridges and a Nepalese bridge. Ages 12 and up.
- La Rivière Souterraine: an introduction to caving, in the footsteps of the first explorers. Ages 10 and up.
Both activities last around 3 hours and require good physical condition. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Reinforce your adventurous spirit with a unique experience: an underground accrobranche in the heart of the Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine. Overcome your fears and enjoy a unique course 200 meters underground. This new concept in acrobatic courses is safe for children aged 12 and over.
THE UNDERGROUND RIVER:
The lower part of the Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine is home to almost 25 km of galleries, most of which are traversed by a majestic underground river known as the Secret River. With this activity, follow in the footsteps of the first explorers.
