BIBLIOTHÈQUE CENTRALE DE VERSAILLES
Go there and contact
The central library of Versailles houses 700,000 volumes (books, press, CDs, DVDs), including an important heritage collection of 100,000 volumes inherited from the Palace of Versailles. A listed library, it is decorated with gilding and precious furniture, making it a dazzling and highly historical place, located in the Hôtel des Affaires étrangères et de la Marine. Dreaming with your eyes open while contemplating its architecture but also while immersing yourself in its collections: you won't come out unscathed from this visit to the kingdom of books.
