LA TAVERNE DE MAÎTRE KANTER
In the former hotel Colbert that Louis XIV made to his principal minister, the decor of the Tavern is faithful to the tradition of the teaches: purple, wood, mirrors, fountain and abundant shellfish. The location of this establishment makes it dream: on the right of the castle, near the place de l'Armes, the window dazzled the passers-by its lights and its presence in this small counter from Colbert street. From the entrance, it will be seafood (mussels, oysters, periwinkles, lobsters) without even having to consult the map. Rest assured that the meat is presented in many recipes (braisées, roasted or roasted, in sauce, carpaccio or tartar). Among the undecided, great appetites should choose between the seven proposed sauerkraut varieties (to sprinkle with a glass of beer: is not there for a master brewer?), and the least greedy are hungry for a crisp salad or a crispy flamenkueche.
Pas d'originalité flagrante par rapport à ce monde là.
C'est vrai que lorsque ça se bouscule à l'entrée, en pointe donc, l'accueil n'est pas toujours à la hauteur.
