Le noyau de Poissy is France's oldest secular liqueur
The "Poissy nucleus" is the oldest French secular liquor. Its design dates back to 1698. This name now covers two main products: «The silver cup», a 25 ° amber alcohol obtained by maceration of the almond kernel of the apricot nucleus in Armagnac, and «The seal of Saint-Louis» a white alcohol at 40 °, obtained by distillation of the almond kernel in Cognac, plants and aromatics.
