Gaël Caté is an expert in spirits of all kinds. His cellar, located on the church forecourt, offers an excellent selection, featuring favorites and partner estates. You'll also find a range of 50 whiskies from around the world, 15 types of gin, and champagnes to age. There are also top-of-the-range bottles, some of them rare, and most surprising of all: Vière - a blend of wine and beer! Tasting evenings for customers and free delivery within a 15 km radius.

Les Coqs du Vin in Montfort l'Amaury is a wine cellar founded by Gaël Caté and Alexandre Girard, two passionate friends who specialize in spirits and whisky. They focus on original, authentic, organic and natural wines, mainly from the Yvelines region (Versailles, Rambouillet, Chevreuse...) such as Marcel Lapierre and Château Cambon, as well as exceptional foreign wines like Hatzidakis and Lopez de Heredia. All wines are aged in two cellars, including a 15th-century vaulted cellar, to guarantee optimal conditions. In addition, their rare expertise in spirits enables them to provide valuable recommendations, including artisanal gems and collectible bottles. Les Coqs du Vin encourages discovery by offering innovative ways to enjoy spirits, as well as timeless classics. Tasting evenings and an enthusiast's club complete the exciting experience they offer.

Nous avons été accueillis avec jovialité et professionnalisme. Gaël a pris son temps pour nous écouter et nous conseiller au mieux.
On voit qu'il connaît ses vignerons et vigneronnes sur le bout des doigts. Il y a toujours de la nouveauté et il nous donne envie de boire un verre à ses côtés. Le lieu est magnifique et que dire de la petite place de Montfort l'Amaury!
Je recommande 1000 fois ce professionnel indépendant comme on n'en fait plus !
