In 1844, buoyed by the success of The Three Musketeers, Alexandre Dumas decided to build himself a "little house" on the hillside of Port-Marly. Two years later, the project had taken the shape of a beautiful residence: a neo-Renaissance château with sculpted facades, set over 2 floors with turrets, belfries and terraces. In addition to guided tours, the château occasionally offers dramatized tours, as well as an 1880s Escape Game and Murder Party.

Opening hours according to season (see online), closed Mondays. Free for children under 8. Full price: €9, concessions: €7. Park only: €5. Guided tours: 2nd Sunday of the month, €10, free for under-8s. Theatrical tours: last Sunday of the month, 11 €, children 2 €, free for children under 3. Escape Game : 25 €/pers, from 12 years old.
