CHRISTOPHE ET MARIE-JO LAVAU
Read moreVignobles Lavau is a family-run winegrowing operation offering prestigious grands crus. Founded in 1983, the estate has expanded over time with the acquisition of new parcels, including Château Haut Dina in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux and Château Clos Hortense in Saint Emilion Grand Cru. In 2019, part of the property was renewed and the total surface area of the estate is now 15 hectares, divided between the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux and Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellations. The property's varied soils, ranging from clay-limestone to rocky subsoil, enable the production of quality wines. The dominant grape varieties are Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a small amount of Malbec in the blend. At Vignobles Lavau, we respect the winemaking traditions handed down through the generations, and this is reflected in the quality of our wines.
