Perched on the heights of the Véxin, Jambville Castle is known as the National training centre for the Scouts and guides of France. Each year, more than 2 000 executives participate in training courses. Its architecture is unique since it has evolved over the centuries. The vaulted cellars are the th, the wing of the era Henri IV and the central pavilion date of Louis XIV. The castle park, created in the th century, is a remnant of the royal Forest of Arthies. It covers 52 ha of wood and grassland and consists of very rare tree species such as the Himalaya cedar.
