A not-to-be-missed event in the Houdan region, with inaugural fireworks display, agricultural exhibitions and a three-day funfair.

The Saint-Matthieu fair is a not-to-be-missed event in the Houdan region. It kicks off on Friday evening with an inaugural fireworks display, and continues for the rest of the weekend. For the occasion, the town center becomes a pedestrian zone, giving way to car salesmen, traders and dealers who come to show off their cars. The program includes one of the finest poultry and rabbit shows in the region, as well as an equine and cattle show. The town also hosts one of the department's biggest funfairs, in the Parc du Cygne.
