One of the largest private châteaux in the region, it boasts magnificent gardens designed by the famous Le Nôtre.

With its magnificent gardens designed by André Le Nôtre and a château conceived by the architect of Versailles for the Duc de Luynes, the Domaine de Dampierre is today one of the largest privately-owned châteaux in the Ile-de-France region open to the public. Currently undergoing restoration, the estate is well worth a visit, and boasts a fine collection of horse-drawn carriages. Other on-site activities include horse-drawn carriage, electric buggy and rowing boat rides, restaurants, concerts...
