Château Grand Abord - Vignobles Dugoua is a winery located in Portets, in the Graves region just outside Bordeaux, on the left bank of the Garonne River. The first vineyards in the Bordeaux region were established here, and the origins of the Château Grand Abord vineyard date back to 1720. The estate's parcels are referenced in the 1868 Guide Féret. The château's name derives from the time when the Garonne reached the edge of the property, and boats and barges made a "grand abordage". Today, Philippe and Marie France Dugoua manage the vineyard with modernity, tradition and respect for the environment, practicing integrated viticulture.
