This immense green space is one of the most important natural green spaces in the Bordeaux area. It has long been used by walkers, and recent work has created new, very pleasant spaces. Known for its three lookout points and its paths for observing the local fauna, its tropical greenhouse, its garden and its educational vegetable garden, the site also has a large playground, a nature theater and numerous recreational and sports facilities. There is also a peri-urban refuge.
