Les maisons de ce quartier font partie des sites Le Corbusier classés au Patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco. Certaines sont en bel état, d'autres à l'abandon, ce qui est assez surprenant. Mérite un détour pour qui s'intéresse à l'architecture du vingtième siècle. Pour s'y rendre on traverse le vignoble de Haut-Brion, le Château célèbre le plus proche du centre de Bordeaux
