High-level sporting competitions are, of course, part of the events organised in this House. Football, rugby and athletics fans live there at great moments following the meetings of the national teams - the world cup, the VI Nations tournament… - as well as the French championship matches, especially as regards the oval ball - the Stade Français Paris defends in its own colours. But large shows also find the space they need— Ben-Hur, Aida… -as well as rock and variety stars— The Rolling Stones, Johnny Hallyday, Céline Dion, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney, U 2, George Michael, Mylène Farmer…. And even the comedian Jean-Marie Bigard, who took up the challenge of practicing one's art. man show in front of a crowd of tens of thousands of people. It is for its environs not to be suffocating that Stade de France was raised at La Plaine Saint-Denis, a large, rapidly changing industrial area offering many cards to the builders. However, please note that it is not advisable to go to the game or to the show by car. The site has parking facilities and is well connected but unless you like to redo the game or the concert in your car during traffic jams, you may spoil your day or evening! Choose more for public transport.

If the heart tells you, the Stade de France is visited every day. It is one of the most frequented sports monuments in France. Besides the discovery of the building and its facilities, the site offers from a belvedere, a panoramic view of the city, the basilica of Saint-Denis and, further afield, the Sacré Cœur, the Eiffel Tower… The Stade de France has four thousand squares, seating and covered. He asked for three years of work. It was in preparation for the famous 1998 World Cup of Football that it was built according to the plans of architects Michel Macary, Aymeric Zublena, Michel Régembal and Claude Costantini. It is the largest modular stage in the world. It is structured around three forums, one of which, the bass, can shrink to leave the track of the athletics track and associating. The roof is remarkable, managing to shelter the public without blurring the terrain. Well thought out, the evacuation of spectators can be done within less than a quarter of an hour. Its management, for thirty years, was entrusted by the State to a consortium comprising the companies involved in its construction - Bouygues, JWG and STF.
