Establishment with garden terrace, featuring a well-executed traditional menu and local wines

Nestled in the heart of the Dukes of Siena, with a terrace overlooking the garden and vineyards below, Pollo o Manzo is a clever blend of styles. The location alone is worth the detour to Montagne, just a few minutes from Saint-Émilion. But the trattoria 's name is all it's cracked up to be: the decor is so refined, with a beautiful contemporary insert. The tables face outwards. You won't necessarily find the promise of a rotisserie à la carte, but rather a well-executed traditional menu. Local wines are given pride of place.
