Estate offering a tour that leads to organic farming and tasting of its natural IGP Ile-de-France wines

Did you know that in the 18th century, the Île-de-France region was the largest wine-growing area in France? In Guérard, 400 hectares of vines covered the hillsides and the whole village made a living from this crop, until phylloxera decimated the vineyards. But Daniel Kiszel, a passionate winegrower, planted his first vines in 2003, determined to revive this forgotten heritage. Don't miss a visit to the estate, which is farmed organically, and a tasting of its IGP Île-de-France wines.

Such an amazing winery in a gorgeous part of France right outside Paris. Definitely worth the drive out! We’ve been on many tours across California and this beats them all with how much access you get and how much care they put into the wine process. I hope this winery starts a revival of winemaking in the area. We’ll be back for sure!
