Château La Lagune is a winery located in Ludon-Médoc. It produces a 3rd Bordeaux Grand Cru Classé, as well as a second wine called 'Moulin de La Lagune' and a third cuvée called 'Mademoiselle L'. The 80-hectare vineyard is planted on one of the best gravelly hilltops in the region. The estate applies environmentally-friendly viticulture based on organic and biodynamic farming practices. The move to organic conversion was initiated in 2013, with certification scheduled for the 2016 harvest. This natural approach enables the wines to draw out all the complexity and finesse of the terroir, and to restore them through patient, precise vinification and barrel ageing using the traditional method.
