The banks of the Seine allow you to discover splendid century houses.

When you walk along the banks of the Seine from Saint-Mammès to Seine-Port, you will discover splendid 19th century houses ranging from classical architecture to copies of the medieval style, passing through Art Nouveau or half-timbering (real or fake) and tormented roofs (sometimes very high). These Belle Epoque houses were baptized by André Châtelain "les Affolantes". All these surprising houses are private and cannot be visited.

We leave by bike Melun Wood it is a feast for the eyes to see these old properties for most well maintained. For dream, you could think you were in another place and another era.
