Opened in 1907, the Salle Gaveau takes its name from the pianos of the same name. A host of artists soon made the venue a must-see. Bought by Chantal and Jean-Marie Fournier in 1976, the Salle Gaveau was listed as a historic monument in 1992 and subsequently renovated. After renovation, it reopened its doors in 2001. The interior has been restored to its former glory, and the warm golden hue of the decor is very similar to that of its origins. As for the programme, it has been restored to its former glory, with a strong emphasis on classical music.

Salle idéale pour les concerts baroques. Excellente acoustique où chaque instrument se différencie parfaitement des autres.
Très belle représentation du Messie de GF Haendel par l'Orchestre de l'Opéra Royal de Versailles.
Chœurs et orchestre très bien dirigés et brillants.

The theater is fantastic. There's also a lovely bistro that you can access directly from the lobby. If you're ever in the area, be sure to reserve tickets for a concert. Honestly, the theater alone is worth the trip!
