Opened in 1907, the Salle Gaveau takes its name from the pianos of the same name. A host of artists soon made the venue a must-see. Bought by Chantal and Jean-Marie Fournier in 1976. The Salle Gaveau was listed as a historic monument in 1992 and subsequently renovated. After renovation, it reopened its doors in 2001. The interior has been restored to its former glory, and the warm golden hue of the decor is very similar to that of its origins. As for the program, it has been restored to its former glory, with a strong emphasis on classical music.
