Created by a Roman ice cream maker, Veronika and Renato Squillante Montoro's ice creams and frozen desserts are made with fresh seasonal products, without additives, coloring agents, preservatives and artificial flavors. One of the stars of this gelateria artigiana is the pistachio ice cream from Iran. You should know that the sorbets here are officially certified vegan, and the ice creams are gluten-free. But the particularity of this noble sign - Renato is a marquis - is that it elaborates salted ice creams with surprising flavors, such as this ice cream with avocado and gorgonzola. Quite original, isn't it? Small selection of pastries... Italian of course (cannolo, maritozzo).

Leckeres Eis, aber teuer
Wir mussten am Samstag ca. 20 Minuten anstehen für ein Eis. Wir freuten uns bereits auf die etwas spezielleren Sorten, wie Ananas, Birne oder Pfirsich. Leider waren diese alle ausverkauft.
Wir hatten schlussendlich 4 'Standardsorten'. Schoko Sorbet, Vanille, Erdbeere und Passionfrucht. Alle waren sehr lecker bis auf das Erdbeereis. Dies war eher wässrig und schmeckte nach nicht viel. Ebenfalls hatten sie keine Cornets mehr.
Wir haben 15 Euro für 4 eher kleine Kugeln bezahlt.
Das Eis ist lecker, man muss aber selbst entscheiden, ob es einem den Preis wert ist.
Für uns hat am Schluss zu viel gefehlt, um den Preis zu rechtfertigen.

Glaces achetés sur le stand de Lafayette Gourmet Haussmann, immangeable goût inexistant et débris de glace en bouche( bizarre pour glace censée être fabriquée avec du lait car pas sorbet!!!) sans doute une mauvaise conservation:-(((!!! Je suis retournée voir le vendeur lequel il m’a vite fait comprendre qu’il s’en moquait complètement. C’est très regrettable car étant italienne et connaissant très bien la glace italienne( la scimmietta championne à plusieurs reprises en Italie) je suis hyper déçue ????
