Some like him, others love him, and as if his title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France received in 2000 was not enough, some go as far as describing him as "Rodin of chocolate". It must be said that his sculptures are bold and absolutely wonderful, he even recreated a cobblestone of May 68 to mark the 40th anniversary. He dares new mixtures – sometimes 14 products assembled in one creation – that delight the palate. He combines textures and aesthetics. Patrick Roger is also a master of taste who works  in his chocosphere! He imagines everything in his workshop in Sceaux where he transforms chocolate into wonderful sweets or into giant pieces of 80 kilograms.

Que du bonheur et des regrets
PR, y aller est du bonheur assuré pour les yeux tout d abord car la vitrine mérite d être léchée et ensuite pour le choix des boites et tablettes… des regrets de devoir faire des choix pour le bonheur d y retourner ! Des regretsss de ne plus pouvoir (post Covid) de ne plus pouvoir composer des sachets et boites et ainsi de pouvoir découvrir à l unité sans contrainte budgétaire et package imposé mais rapidement rattraper tellement le choix est vastes, le goût jouissif et envie d y revenir persistante. PR c est du bonheur assuré pour les gourmands même si je regrette les noisettes enrobées de chocolat… hâte de rerererevenir :)

J’adore ce chocolat, mais le service laisse beaucoup à désirer … L’accueil est très froid. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils ont embauché une femme qui n'aime apparemment pas travailler avec les clients ???? Je n’ai plus envie d’y revenir.

I visited this chocolate shop because it doesn't exist in Japan yet.
I bought an assortment of chocolates in different flavors.
Everything was very delicious.

Rude service who were very condescending and unhelpful. I asked for recommendations and they didn’t give any suggestions. I felt like I was getting worse treatment because I’m a tourist. I bought 2 boxes but wouldn’t again - there are kinder and friendlier shops elsewhere in Paris with great chocolates. Disappointing considering the brand and high price point.
