Arabic is the fourth most spoken language in the world. The rhyme of the Arabic children is Ali Baba and the forty thieves, or Aladdin and his fabulous magic lamp. At the Institut du Monde Arabe, modern Arabic courses are offered to children (in small groups of ten to twelve) from the age of seven. The goal is to enable children express themselves fluently in this language, while developing their creativity. Their achievements are regularly tested through an evaluation system. At the end of the year, these children take part in shows with songs, stories, sketches.

I segni distintivi dell ' edificio sono il profilo nitido e le pareti in alluminio e vetro. Il museo contiene raffinate opere di metallo , tessuti , tappeti e calligrafie.

Cet institut a toujours des expositions et événements et activités intéressantes.
La librairie est formidable !
Par contre , un peu déçu que l'Expo de Étienne Dinet soit au sous sol avec le bruit des toilettes a côté , le souffleur pour se sécher les mains en bruit de fond...
Le public est parfois peu respectueux de la visite des autres visiteurs( enfants qui court, presque a toucher les œuvres ...)mais le personnel en charge du lieu ne dit rien. D'ailleurs une personne seulement était en charge de surveiller. Assis a la sortie...

Beau musée parisien. Parfaitement situé à côté de la Seine et de la Fac de Jussieu.
J'ai eu la chance de voir une exposition sur Étienne Dinet que je recommande fortement.
L'accueil est excellent.

Une vue de la terrasse de l'institut permet un panorama magnifique sur Paris et donnant notamment sur une autre facette de N-D ( toujours en travaux)

Un bon moment.
