Stéphane Henry doesn't lie. His father was well-established and he took over by maintaining family know-how. In 2009, he won the 5 th prize of the best baguette in Paris. And this is deserved because its Tradition is excellent. The biological ball, at a very affordable price, was also awarded the competition of the Organic bread of Ile-de-France. Breads with cereals and unleavened are very good. The pastry is honest but it remains very baking. At lunchtime, formulas are offered with sandwiches, salads, quiches, etc.

Les Petits Pains Ronds (2 bis Bd Morland, Paris) is a gem of a bakery conveniently located across from a bus stop. During our month-long stay in Paris in May 2025, it became our go-to spot for breakfast and beyond. Their classic baguettes, buttery croissants, pain au chocolat, quiches, and jambon (ham and cheese) baguette sandwiches were consistently outstanding. They also serve delicious coffee and offer a fun self-serve orange juicer. If your preferred sandwich isn’t in the case, they’ll craft one fresh from the menu board.
Most mornings, we started our day with their flaky croissants, rich pain au chocolat, savory quiches, or sweet pain aux raisin. For light dinners, we often grabbed a fresh original baguette to pair with a charcuterie board—perfectly simple and satisfying.
On our last day in Paris, I treated our group to jambon baguette sandwiches for the road. Everyone raved about them, texting individually to say how delicious they were. These sandwiches are a must for a picnic or train ride—hands down the best jambon baguette I’ve ever had.
If you’re staying nearby or passing by on your way to the bus or metro, don’t miss Les Petits Pains Ronds. It’s a reliable spot for authentic, high-quality Parisian baked goods that won’t disappoint.

The best brioche suisse in Paris
