The famous Mariage Frères tea house is well represented in Paris. Here, all is wood panelling; the atmosphere is hushed, as in a museum where precious objects are replaced by superb tea caddies. Cela fait 20 ans que je prends mon thé chez Mariage Frères. C'est toujours la même qualité malgré la assez hausse des prix. Le service est impeccable mais assez froid. Alors que j'étais la seule cliente dans le magasin et qu'ils étaient trois vendeurs disponibles, j'avais l'impression de déranger

Un salon de thé paisible, aussi bien par son emplacement dans une rue tranquille du 4e arrondissement de notre belle capitale, que par la disposition de son salon, en arrière de la partie boutique. Une équipe agréable et professionnelle par la grande (pour ne pas dire l’immense) connaissance d’une carte de Thé provenant du monde entier.

I had a wonderful experience here in the tea room. The black tea I was served was great! Unfortunately they did not sell the one I was served but I was able to buy a comparable one. They were accommodating for our friends who showed up later. I would highly recommend this location. During peak lunch times you do need a reservation.
