Assoiffée on est juste venue pour une badois à la base, le monsieur étais adorable, l’endroit magnifique !!! Tout avais l’air délicieux ! Merci pour les excellents croissants le titre n’est pas usurpé ! Dès qu’on reviens dans le quartier on passeras chez vous !

Long time pâtissier, Laurent Watrin recently passed over his corner Moulin de Rosa to M Jacques. It is still the only boulangerie along the southern tail of Rue de Turenne. Just two blocks from Place des Vosges, it stays busy not only from local lunchtime crowds but tourists spilling out from Rue des Francs Bourgeois and you will be lucky if anything is left by 4pm. But quality is what brings you back. They use 2 ribbons of rich Valrhona in their flavorful pain au chocolate, made especially flaky by the high end Lescure butter for consistently crunchy bites when oven fresh. Their viennoiserie sets the bar for others in the neighborhood.
Other carefully crafted pastries showcased in the window change daily but the lemon layer cake is superb. The multi fruit and seed bread is my favorite although often disappears by late afternoon. It is so dense with goodies that they recommend slicing it for you with their electric cutter as home knives will likely crumble the bread. In case they’ve run out try their dense norvégien multi grain which is filled with various seeds and whole grains and to me has character and complexity rather than bread without anything inside, although their crisp baguettes are as good as any.

Très décevant et tres inégal. Globalement, le rapport qualité-prix n'est pas à la hauteur des attentes. Brioche au pralin sans intérêt, sèche, extrêmement chère pour la quantité servie. Idem pour le marbré. Croissant simple et tarte au citron très bien, mais le prix n'est pas justifié là encore. Il est proposé un tarif "sur place" alors qu'aucune table n'est présente. Service passable. Passez votre chemin, vous trouverez bien mieux dans le quartier.

Getting a bad croissant (tourist’s grade) in Paris is easy, but to find a real excellent tasty buttery and light croissant became a real HARD thing.

Look no further: this is the place !

5,90€ pour un jambon emmental sans beurre, emmental tout sec
6,90€ un sandwich poulet avocat, sans avocat et avec du poulet uniquement sur l’extérieur pour qu’il soit beau en vitrine, pour ces prix à Paris, c’est un scandale, je vous conseille d’aller chez Paul un peu plus loin

Pour couronner le tout, une personne au service qui n’écoute pas et qu’on a l’impression de déranger à chaque phrase.

Je ne comprend pas comment cette boulangerie peut avoir cette note

A great boulangerie - not a lot of fancy stuff but delicious basics. The seeded baguette is superb, and the almond pain au chocolat is addictive.

Depuis un moment j'avais remarqué cette pépite et enfin j'ai pu avoir le plaisir d'échanger avec Kalil. Son accueil chaleureux a été l'un des + de cet endroit.
J'ai goûté les petits pains salés à la tomate et au pesto, les viennoiseries savoureuses mais surtout un incroyable pain aux raisins (a quoi je ne suis pas un grand fan)

Bonjour , aujourd’hui le dimanche 1/12, la serveuse est au bout de sa vie!! Il faut qu’elle change de métier car c’est désagréable de communiquer avec une vendeuse qui déprime, aucun sourire et qui fait fuir la clientèle avec son attitude face aux gens.

Les meilleurs croissants que j'ai jamais goûtés. Ils ne sont pas gras et sont délicieux. Le pudding aussi ! Une vendeuse à l'écoute, extrêmement agréable et qui a répondue à toutes mes questions avec le sourire et gentillesse. Je recommande.
