Access to the Institut Suédois is via a beautiful cobbled courtyard, where a few gourmands had the chance to take a seat. Like many others, they were attracted by the charm of this 16th-century mansion and seduced by Sweden's culinary culture. A lovely garden adorns the mansion. The venue hosts numerous cultural events: exhibitions, concerts, literary meetings, film screenings, debates and seminars. Swedish language courses are also available, whatever your age or level.

You have read three times Moby Dick and dream of reincarnate you into Captain Ahab? This museum will delight the emulates of Jules Vernes. The Prince of Monaco, Albert 1, is the foundation of the foundation. Since 1884, passionate about the field, he organizes oceanographic campaigns, in 1899, he built the Monaco oceanographic museum in order to get the greatest number of people to his collections. Then, in 1906, a centre for oceanographic studies was established in Paris, quickly completed by the construction of the Institute of Oceanography in 1911. The numerous aquariums populated by exotic creatures have been doing the joy of children and amateurs. Many temporary exhibitions are regularly organized (in 2007, works around marine themes, Dorine Barbey, Nelly Madoulet, Jeanne-Claude Steinberg, Pascal Cuart, Claudine Legastelois and Gordana Saint-Arroman) and, during the school holidays (from the Parisian area), the Centre for the Sea broadcasts Documentaries on the Theme of the Sea. Modules are provided for children, with activities and games.
