Cafconcert
4.7/5
37 reviews
Open - Close to 00h00

You will have to climb the hill of Belleville, get lost in a maze of little frequented streets, but full of charm, and you will find this place so typical, whose name alone sums up the spirit. Here, songs, accordion, evenings dedicated to the kid Piaf, to the barrel organ with Riton the Crank, you will have understood it, one resuscitates a Paris of former days. To have a drink or enjoy a board to share, for a meal with good products, simple cuisine and desserts that hold the body, it is also an excellent place. If the ghosts of the artists of yesteryear hover here, it's no coincidence. You will have understood that this is an institution.

ARTIMUS

Escape game
5/5
1 review

You will have to go to the 20th district to discover Artimus. And frankly, you will hardly regret it. First of all, because Artimus, the name of the professor who rules here, is really well thought out. The settings plunge you into spaces that are more real than life, and into different missions: Naples in the 16th century, distant exoplanets in the future etc... In groups (up to 5 people, but the place can also accommodate private events), it's time for reflection, deduction and team spirit.

PISTON PÉLICAN

Music and entertainment bar
4.9/5
26 reviews
Open - Close to 02h00

For those who have enough of the rue de Charonne and its surroundings, the Piston Pelican is a bar where the atmosphere is good child. The name comes from a theatre troupe who loved the place and was there. The decor is classic and sober with the atmosphere, it remains whatever it is relaxed and festive. On the consumption side, you'll find what you're drinking with, in particular, vodka served by a metre or a pitcher mojito… Keep a little moderation! As far as music is concerned, it is an eclectic maximum: songs, gypsy jazz, rock, electro, blind evenings, DJ sets…

LES PÈRES POPULAIRES

Music and entertainment bar

Open - Close to 02h00

Here's one of these bistros, called bars-bars, which have a great success in the east of Paris, with their flea way, their excessifs rates and their casual animation. Or how simplicity can finally be combined with success and quality. Young and younger people talk easily and not talk about ways of doing things. In the afternoon, many people come to work, and the atmosphere will sometimes be studious. At the end of the day, the atmosphere relaxes and we share a good breakfast board without taking your head. Côté music is often jazz and French songs. DJ sets are also on the program.

AUX FOLIES

Bar and caf
4.4/5
5 reviews

A passage from the relaxation bellevillois, this old café-theatre today welcomes the most crowded evenings of the neighborhood. It turns between the terrace and the bar that abuzz thousands of conversations to catch a half good, to taste standing in the middle of a totally mixed crowd. It is also a lyrics, a lyrics, a belleville. The tables are beautifully decorated with antique colours illuminated by neon neon that go on the ceiling. And a few decades ago, Maurice Chevalier and Edith Piaf sang in this institution…

LOU PASCALOU

Cafconcert

It's in a small, not very well-known corner of the 20th century that you will discover Lou Pascalou, "Le petit Pascal" in Basque. This cultural café programs rock concerts, songs or world music and meetings with writers. It also presents exhibitions of artists and projections of short films. Some evenings are also dedicated to board games or tournaments of the Paris Improvisation League (see the programme on the café's website). The place succeeds in combining culture, good atmosphere, discovery and sharing. The staff is charming, even during peak periods. A little extra: on sunny days, the large terrace is very much appreciated.

LE BOUILLON BELGE

Music and entertainment bar

A small corner of Brussels in the 20th! In this bar you can discover many Belgian beers (draught beer or in bottle) at perfectly reasonable prices, accompanied by a bag of chips of course. For those who are not hop lovers can be reassured, the cucumber mojito is worth a try! Theme evenings are regularly organised, such as the "Mussels Party" on Wednesday, devoted, as you can imagine, to beer. Guaranteed atmosphere! You can even play pinball or baby-soccer - so rare nowadays - or board games. A very good place to start the aperitif, or even a snack with the famous Liège waffles. Le Bouillon is particularly popular on game nights.

" Here they sold their soul to rock! " The rock is presented in all its forms, in concert mainly, but also thanks to Djs. The hotel has a bar of the 1960 s with its black skaï armchairs and vinyl vinyl beyond the bar. The leather jacket, furnished to the taste of the day, is stylish in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. During concerts, it is not uncommon for young girls and boys to twister with rage. A good atmosphere, rock lovers will appreciate. A small visit from the myspace of the establishment will put you in the atmosphere…

This is one of the most dynamic addresses in Parisian public theater. Just a stone's throw from Place Gambetta, a high glass façade opens onto two auditoriums - one seating 780 and the other 184 - set in an environment reminiscent of an ocean liner, with its gangways and walkways. From contemporary creations to dance, the program is renowned for its quality.

There are three rooms at this address: XXL - 345 seats -, XL - 96 seats - and Le Lab - 90 seats - as well as rehearsal studios. Various companies present their shows. The history of the Ménilmontant theatre dates back to 1877 when two halls in the area are successively open for Saint Peter's patronage and the Salésiens fathers. There are numerous performances of children, teenagers and adults. Then there are "Passions", "Mysteries", "Mystères" sessions and "light projections", patriotic pieces, comedy, drama, lyrical performances, operettas… The current address was inaugurated in 1929. A former mentor, actor Georges Chamarat, is assembling pieces. In 1932, Passion was created in Ménilmontant, a show played by residents of the neighborhood who enjoyed a long success. In 1958, before founding the Théâtre de l'Est Paris, Guy Rétoré and his Guild settled in this theatre to which they gave their name today. The NPT of Jean Vilar also plays there. From the 1970 s, the Théâtre theatre opened to the song: Félix Leclerc, Graeme Allwright, Mouloudji… In 1979, a Théâtre Theatre Workshop was launched. And the adventure still continues today. This place must have grace!
