The building features a superb double staircase that allows you to ascend and discover all the wonders of the site

In the heart of Paris, the monumental building of the Bourse de Commerce is highly recognisable, with its beautiful rotunda topped by a dome. Today, it houses some of the 10,000 works by 400 different artists in François Pinault's incredible collection. On the programme? Permanent and thematic exhibitions, masterpieces, meetings and other events focusing on contemporary art. An absolute must on any tour circuit.

A let down. The exhibition in the grand hall - Clinamen, a water & porcelain installation by Céleste Boursier-Mougenot - is supposed to transform the museum's Rotunda into a space of sensory contemplation. They even tell you this going in and to be quiet for contemplation. Instead, it’s as noisy as a cafeteria and crowded with social media posers. The security spend their time enforcing a set back line no one knew existed (and could have easily been taped off or noted on the floor) instead of all the talking, as would be enforced in a library. I assure you there was no quiet contemplation had by anyone here. The rest of the exhibits were predictable bits of modern art that couldn’t stand on their own without their pretentious explanations.

A Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection mistura história e arte contemporânea. O edifício com cúpula de vidro e afrescos do século XIX abriga um cilindro central de concreto projetado por Tadao Andō. Galerias elegantes e exposições rotativas tornam a visita visualmente rica e vibrante. A loja também tem itens interessantes.

Sin duda uno de los mejores lugares de moda en paris.
Su remodelación es una obra de arte.
La colección pinault está muy bien curada y es muy atractiva.
Vale la pena entrar y sentarse para relajarse mientras se observa los frescos en el techo.
