Located in the small pedestrian street of the Dry Tree, the Etoile Opera (or simply «Etoile» for the intimate) is one of the main gay bar Lyon. It has a large terrace that is pleasant in summer and is expected to be heated soon to spend winter. During the day, the place is ideal for a coffee or a break. In the evening, the large central bar is bathed in light. Small mezzanine, temporary exhibitions of painters and photographers. Theme restoration changes every week (service Monday to Saturday inclusive from 12 am to 14 pm). From 18 h, aperitif lounge, sunny terrace, DJ resident on weekends, mix with public, theme evenings, billiard room, cocktail and shooters card.

Concernant la clientèle : à l’image de la vie lyonnaise on le voit changer avec les années même si les piliers (de marbre comme de bois pourris) peuvent rester,
En tout cas c’est vivant et ça, c’est beau à voir
10min après il revient en nous disant qu’ils ne faisaient pas de cocktail car trop « débordés » (alors que non, le bar n’était pas complet, LOIN de là). On remplace alors le cocktail par un verre de Jack. 5min après il revient en nous disant qu’il n’y a plus d’Orangina. Ce que nous pouvons comprendre, mais pourquoi aussi peu de considération ? Aucun sourire, aucun enthousiasme, aucun professionnalisme… quel dommage !
