The Théâtre du Châtelet was inaugurated in 1862 during the reign of Napoleon III. It's easy to forget that the theater underwent extensive renovation over a long period of time, culminating in 2020: yet the venue remains as beautiful as ever. Listed as a Historic Monument, it seats no less than 2,010. Musicals, classical music, recitals - the program is as eclectic and high quality as ever. Workshops and shows for young audiences are also on offer, and gift cards are also available!

Great space - really beautiful. Love the way the booking system shows you exactly the stage view from your seat as these historical horse shoe theatres do have some restricted views.
