The Théâtre du Châtelet was inaugurated in 1862 during the reign of Napoleon III. It's easy to forget that the theater underwent extensive renovation over a long period of time, culminating in 2020: yet the venue remains as beautiful as ever. Listed as a Historic Monument, it seats no less than 2,010. Musicals, classical music, recitals - the program is as eclectic and high quality as ever. Workshops and shows for young audiences are also on offer, and gift cards are also available!

Le spectacle est grandiose avec une vraie troupe d'excellents acteurs et chanteurs, une mise en scène parfaite et une orchestration magistrale !
Beaucoup d'émotions dans ce spectacle fidèle à l'œuvre du génial Hugo, qui ne peut que résonner fortement dans le contexte actuel, où la "volonté du peuple" est malheureusement bafouée...
Mention spéciale au jeune Gavroche, plus vrai que nature, à Javert et à Eponine, extraordinaires dans leurs rôles respectifs !
