A warmly welcoming tourist hotel in the Halles district with comfortable rooms.

The Hotel de le Vallée is a small tourist hotel, located in the heart of the lively and pedestrian district of Les Halles, 5 minutes walk from the Beaubourg Museum and Châtelet-les-Halles metro, 10 minutes from the Louvre Museum and 15 minutes from Notre-Dame.   It is in the famous rue Saint-Denis, very hot at a time and much less busy than it was a time by the péripatéticiennes… It has comfortable and quiet rooms, 16 of which are equipped with private bathroom. It is not the luxury, but we pay the location and warm welcome. Counsel: for a long time to ring the phone because the staff is often busy on the floors.

Overall, I’d rate my experience a 2/5. I paid about $200 a night and would have rather spent an extra $100-$150 for a nicer place. ||Pros:|-Pretty good location (central)|-Decently priced |-Comfy bed |-Near Marias||Cons:|-Street is EXTREMELY LOUD (I’m talking that you’ll need ear plugs until 5AM. This is not a joke or an exaggeration). |-Street is a bit sketchy. In the morning, you have some odd people walking around. Also, sex shops galore |-Shower wouldn’t drain |-Door handle locking (manually locking) does not function |-Sewage smell throughout hotel |-Sketchy people hanging out front (to the point where they have to lock the front door at night) ||Good luck!

We enjoyed our stay. Lovely decor, well appointed and very nice toiletteries. Small, quiet and great place to lay our heads. The bed was very comfortable, linens excellent and added touches of water, kettle and cups. |We will say there was a small amount of counter tops in bedroom. In bathroom the drawers under sink worked well for personal items. Our TV wasn't working and they dealt with it immediately. The staff are great to work with. Helpful, kind and professional. |The breakfast is typical french fair, fresh and well presented. It held us all day. We hope to come back.

Uitstekende locatie, schone kamers en vriendelijk personeel. Alleen onze kamer was een beetje gehorig en aan de kleine kant, verder niks aan te merken.
