Monumental, facing the Eiffel Tower, in a gigantic building built on the Chaillot hill by architects Léon Azéma, Jacques Carlu and Louis-Hippolyte Boileau for the 1937 Universal Exhibition, the Théâtre National de Chaillot is a mecca for dance and music. It was here that Jean Vilar established the Théâtre National Populaire - TNP - in 1951. Today, the venue boasts several seats, and has established itself as a must-see dance venue.

Before this superb neo-Renaissance theater was built in 1900, an ^18th-century music salon already existed on the same site. In 1931, the Ranelagh became a renowned art house cinema. It gradually returned to theater and music, as well as circus arts, notably with the successful performances of Howard Buten as the clown Buffo. The current 300-seat auditorium has retained its character, with carved oak panelling lining the orchestra and balconies.

Once under the tent now planted near Porte Maillot, let yourself be rocked by the magic created by the founder of this family circus, Alexandre Romanès. Here you will attend an extraordinary show, which pays tribute to the founders of the fairground art, the Gypsies. It is also the last circus of its kind to be found in Europe. You will not see tigers in cages, nor clowns, but acrobats, dancers, a learned dog who is not that knowledgeable... A family and good-natured atmosphere, to such an extent that when one of the young artists from the community fails, the whole audience applauds to encourage him. The orchestra, composed of several guitars, violins and brass, takes up great gypsy themes in a good mood. At the end of the show, Alexandre Romanès delivers some gypsy wisdom. One of our favourite proverbs: "A man is much more ferocious than a tiger. A tiger, you give him fifteen kilos of meat and he's full, a man, you cover him with gold and he wants more! »

This beautiful green area is located in the Bois de Boulogne, in the heart of the Domaine de Pré Catelan. From May to October, there are classic pieces on a lawn that can accommodate four hundred people. The theatre is in the heart of the Shakespeare Garden. Radio France, which brings together all public radio stations, plays an important role in the world of music. Four groups depend on it: the Orchestre national de France conducted by Daniele Gatti, the Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France conducted by the Finnish Mikko Franck, and the Maîtrise de Radio France, conducted by Sofi Jeannin. The Radio France choir is the partner of the other three groups. The latter perform in several halls in the capital and elsewhere, but also in the walls of the "round house". This amazing building has just been completely renovated. The new auditorium is a concert hall with 1,461 seats, installed in balconies and distributed around the stage and musicians. The spectator is never more than 17 m from the stage. The acoustics are fabulous. Another room: Studio 104, with its 856 seats, welcomes all musical genres and major programmes from Radio France channels. Finally, studios 105 (237 seats) and 106 (137 seats) are dedicated to public broadcasts and more intimate concerts. Every Saturday, guided tours allow you to discover the history of the round house.

The Majestic Passy, which belongs to the network Les Screens du Cinéma, orne the heart of the 16 th arrondissement. It's the only cinema in the neighborhood. Opened in 1930, it was first called Royal Passy and then Broadway. The economic difficulties encountered led to the closure of the cinema in 1982, which was replaced by a fur store. He reintroduced in 1994 with three modern rooms, including the large room equipped with a panoramic screen of 13 meters. Popular and subtitled films are available every week. A bar is also available.
