A pretty white and black cow is perched on the front of this cheese dairy. For more than 60 years, the house has been run by the Vacroux family, who have succeeded each other from generation to generation with equal happiness. Today, it is Sylvain Vacroux, the designer's grandson, who runs the shop, where he offers some 400 varieties of cheeses, dairy products and hand-picked eggs. The cheeses are of exceptional quality and ripeness. Ask to be vacuumed to transport or store them for longer. As a bonus, excellent sausages and the famous Punishments from Poilâne. Absolutely fabulous cheese shop with exceptionally friendly staff (thank you Pauline!). After a month vacation in France, I couldn't bear the thought of returning to the US without a variety of excellent cheeses and butters. Pauline wrapped, labeled, and vacuum-sealed 13 gorgeous cheeses and a few blocks of beurre Bordier. (Tip: Pauline was willing to let me purchase the cheeses and then she packaged them while we went to the catacombs and I returned afterward to pick them up. So helpful! She was also so kind and patient with my halting French, and she also speaks English). I refrigerated the cheeses and butters overnight and packed them in my checked luggage the next day for an 11 hour flight home. They arrived unscathed and we have been enjoying them with friends and family in the weeks since. What an amazing experience and souvenir. Thank you Pauline and Fromagerie Vacroux!

I came here Friday 28th June around 12h40 and was served by such a friendly lady who helped me. I bought 2 cheeses and the Brie I bought was some of the best cheese I’ve ever tasted! Amazing quality????????
