Institute for the Protection and Dissemination of Alberto Giacometti's sculptures, paintings and drawings.

Inaugurated in 2018, the Institut Giacometti is the Parisian point of reference dedicated to the Swiss-born artist. It owes its existence to the Giacometti Foundation, created in 2003 to protect, disseminate and promote the work of Alberto Giacometti. The Institute, one of whose flagship spaces is the artist's reconstructed studio, is little-known and well worth a visit. It is currently housed in a handsome Art Deco townhouse, but plans call for a Giacometti museum and school to open at Les Invalides, in the former Air France terminal, in 2026.
