L'Empire des Thés is located in the heart of Parisian Chinatown, in the 13th arrondissement. As soon as you get home, you are immersed in a rather Zen atmosphere, almost cosy, all in lacquered furniture, pottery, teapots and tea boxes stored like in a library. This unique place aims to introduce Chinese teas and all the culture that goes with them without elitism, with a simple desire to share. We explain that tea is a bit like wine, it adapts to circumstances, tastes, and even seasons. There are black, green, white, yellow, flavoured, semi-fermented and other natural teas. They are tasted in the lounge with the pastries of their chef Aoki. With more than 200 tea references, including 160 of the most famous gardens in China but also the rarest gardens, L’Empire des Thés is one of the only tea houses in the world to offer so many varieties of Chinese teas. In addition, many accessories at all prices (teapots, tea strainers, etc.).

C'est aussi une jolie boutique.
À côté ils proposent aussi les classiques thés aux fleurs ou fruits: vert jasmin, noirs rose ou litchi, et un thé à l'injustement méconnue osmanthe, ici sur base de thé blanc. Il y a aussi de très nombreux mélanges parfumés "maison", fruités, fleuris ou épicés.
