BATACLAN

Pop rock and variety concert hall
4.3/5
28 reviews

This old lady, looking like a Chinese pagoda, has been indefatigable for 150 years. The rounded concert hall, lined with small round tables and red stools, also doubles as a dancefloor. The Bataclan offers an eclectic program and a wide range of evening events. It has long been a mecca for concerts, dancing, joy and laughter. Following the tragic events of 2015, the Bataclan underwent extensive renovation, proving that life goes on, and has resumed its programming with unfailing zest.

PLANÈTE MARS

Cafconcert
4.8/5
4 reviews

Rather than an interstellar journey, it's a journey in the time you propose Planet Mars, in the heart of the 1960 s. The place of the place is obviously dominated by red. There are no tables or chairs, but stools and bars to drink cocktails and bottled to the sound of the branchés DJ and soul. Among the clients are nice and cheerful rockers tendance, leather jackets and gomina. And yet, if you're not part of the band, you don't feel at all alien when you get on this planet. We feel immediately welcomed around the small bar in the round of this friendly and well-filled space, under the benevolent gaze of the regulars and toy robots of our childhood shelter in their plexiglas globes. In light of the other bars in the Bastille district.

BOUGLIONE WINTER CIRCUS

Circus
4.3/5
4 reviews

This beautiful polygon-shaped building has become very precious. Of the "hard" circuses built during the 19th century, only this one remains, built in 1852 by architect Jacques Hittorff, and purchased in 1934 by the Bouglione brothers. Today, the circus reigns supreme, thanks to the expertise of the Bouglione family, who recruit exceptional artists from all over the world to enrich their shows. The circular stage of this magnificent "theater" is also used for concerts and television broadcasts.

LE MAJESTIC BASTILLE

Cinma dart et essais
3/5
1 review

Another member of the Paris Screens, which valiantly resists the large multiplex in the Bastille district. Opened in 1934, this cinema has always sailed on the second waters, first by airing series B movies, and then programming X films. The Bastille Palace reconvertit in the projection of author's films or small budgets and is renamed Majestic Bastille in 1995. Today's two rooms offer great conditions for spectators who can enjoy a large panoramic screen 11 metres wide.

CABARET CIRQUE RUSSE DU ZÈBRE DE BELLEVILLE

Cabaret and Revue

An ancient cabaret in the heart of the Belleville. In the program of this old cinema, concerts - Beverly Jo Scott, Kissy Wète, Vincent Baguian… - or circus cabaret shows for small and large children. This "little cabaret in Europe" is a registered trademark. During performances, we find ourselves at the heart of numbers, just a few inches from magicians, jugglers, and we feel really entertainer for a few moments. Before the light turns off, you can even drink a drink and dance with the artists. Looking at the programming and coming to the Zebra one may begin to understand the of the expression "to make the zebra".

LE ROSSO

Cafconcert

With its four-pin fashion-shaped design - red light and Toile canvas - and its impeccable bar, Le Rosso could impress the Chaland in search of simplicity. And it would be a pity both the reception and the clientele of this small bar contrast with the somewhat cold - but nevertheless very beautiful - appearance of the design, signed by Sylvain Lacroix. Girls feel good and boys too. It's not great, it's fast, and since it's nice, it's easy to talk to each other while sipping a new York cocktail - Sea Breeze, Cosmopolitain… - or a panther milk, home specialty - secret recipe. The DJ stands at the end of the bar to move the music as varied as possible, without ever being assourdissante. Here we have a few very good evenings.

PANAME ART CAFÉ

TheaterCaf

While the district is full of bars, each more pleasant than the last, the Paname Art Café stands out from the crowd thanks to its cellar, which hosts stand-up comedians. Here, you can sip a drink and laugh at the jokes of a Youtubeur trying his hand on the stage, or a comedian testing out his show before going on tour. Kyan Khojandi, Kheiron, Bérengère Krief or Norman, your favorite comedians are likely to have already passed through Paname Art... or to be scheduled there soon! The venue is also a great place to discover the talents of tomorrow.

L’ARTISHOW CABARET

Cabaret and Revue

The show starts at 22 pm. Join different classic transformistes numbers (Mireille Mathieu, Sheila, Aznavour…) but also innovative. A funny alternative to Michou and Mrs Arthur, with one common point: the meal is rather agreed. But, like his two big sisters, we don't come for this but for the show, which cools the genre of the cabaret cabaret, with a marked influence of Cirque du Soleil, and also of the inescapable classics. The service is very attentive.

THÉÂTRE PANDORA

Theater

Do you like the little known places of the general public, those who have a very Parisian charm? Welcome to Pandora Theatre! Almost secret, this tiny place with about places is worth opening its door in the courtyard of the building. Given its small size, the report to the actor (x) and to the texts is necessarily most sensitive. Obviously, the «only stage» form is dominant, be it comedy or drama. A place that combines charm and privacy!

THÉÂTRE DE BELLEVILLE

Theater

This old theatre should have gone away like many others, without a drum or trumpet. But thanks to actress Marthe Michel, he was saved from destruction and reopened in 1988. With one hundred and thirty armchairs, he is the heir to the Concert du Commerce, a small room created in 1850 for the nearby Trade Brewery. Enlarged in 1897, she welcomed artists like the young Maurice Chevalier. The decor, painted by the painter Cup, dates back to 1910. After the First World War, the theatre is a time transformed into cinema, followed by the live show with Berthe Sylva, among others. But he closes in 1924, before he regained his first destiny much later. The current programming is turned to the theatre, with openings towards song and lyric art.
