The Verre Volé of Rue de Lancry is above all a bistro where we like to be with friends, enjoying a few bottles that we accompany with dishes we choose from the chalk menu. But the Verre Volé is also, and perhaps first of all, a cellar! Cyril, the boss, is a natural wine fundamentalist. So he has devoted a second address solely to wine. The homemade selection is clever, a cellar like that of a friend, where we come to pick up some findings without breaking the bank! We come to spend a good time with friends, in a warm setting decorated with bric-a-brac, forming a harmonious unit.

Heerlijke Parijse bistro. Simpele gerechten met veel smaak en uitgebreide wijnkaart.

Le Verre Volé is one of those rare gems that perfectly balances the charm of a classic French bistrot with a modern, creative touch. The atmosphere is effortlessly inviting—lively yet intimate, making it the kind of place where you can lose track of time over great food and even better wine.

The menu is a celebration of French cuisine, but always with a twist that keeps things exciting. Every dish feels thoughtful, prepared with quality ingredients and just the right amount of boldness. And of course, the wine selection is top-notch, with an ever-changing list that never disappoints. Whether you’re a natural wine enthusiast or just looking for a great bottle to pair with your meal, you’re in good hands here.

The team is absolutely friendly and if you sit outside u’d have a great view on canal Saint Martin. I really enjoy going here whenever I am in the area.

店はコンパクトですが、スタッフの対応もフレンドリーでアットホームな雰囲気、壁一面のワインは圧巻!日本では中々手に入らないワインもあり、仲間が購入!料理も美味しかったです。
