A church built on the remains of a chapel, located in Sceaux, with a neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance façade
Built in the 13th century on the remains of an ancient chapel, the church burned down before being rebuilt in 1545, and grew in size as the population increased. The spire of the bell tower, which collapsed during the Revolution, was only put back in place in 1853, thanks to the Duke of Treviso. The façade only took its present form in the 19th century with the construction of the porch, whose neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance additions are characteristic of the "historicism" of that period.
