Church housing the tombs of Empress Josephine and her daughter, Queen Hortense.
If the first parish of Rueil probably dates back to the 8th century, a church is only attested in the 12th century. Ruined by the Hundred Years' War and the English occupation in the 15th century, it was largely reworked. Nevertheless, it kept its original bell tower until the 19th century. This church, classified as a historical monument, houses the tombs of the Empress Josephine and her daughter, Queen Hortense. One can also admire the magnificent organ case offered by Napoleon III.

My visit to the Eglise in Rueil-Malmaison on a Sunday was a tranquil and serene experience. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful architecture of the church created a sense of calmness and spirituality. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect, find solace, and connect with my inner self

Great place of worship but could be hard for non French speakers as everything is done in French. But all in all, as far as we have Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, everything is great!
