Located in a wood, this madness was built by a rich chocolate maker at the end of the 19th century. When he died, his daughter, a Carmelite, temporarily founded a convent there. During the First World War, it hosted a clandestine ball. Raymond Radiguet (1903-1923) described the castle of his novel "Le Bal du comte d'Orgel" on the basis of this location. This neo-Gothic residence was destroyed by fires in 1977 and 1978. In 1984, a demolition permit was even granted, fortunately, it was never implemented, allowing the municipality to keep this mysterious and historically charged area. Today, the place is a pleasant - and sometimes romantic - place for Sunday walks. The mind filled with the tumultuous stories of this place, to you a moment a little out of time!
