Property designed in the style of the English landscape parks in Yerres, hosts an exhibition and events center.
The Maison Caillebotte, a landmark of Impressionism, and its English-style landscaped park bordered by the Yerres River, were once owned by the famous painter Gustave Caillebotte and his family. He painted over 80 canvases here during the summers of 1870. A visit to the Maison Caillebotte will immerse you in the spirit of a late 19th-century holiday home. The 11-hectare estate offers a splendid setting and superb panoramic views, as you explore the ornamental mills, vegetable garden and remarkable trees. The Maison Caillebotte is also an art center, with different temporary exhibitions organized each year. If you'd like to visit on your own, there's also a mobile application you can download onto your smartphone.

Un lieu reposant !
That disappointment not to have been able to share the emotion felt facing 3 works of Sylvain Vigny. The sculpture " princess x" is not apparently visible any more on this site.
Should you see a parallel to the sculpture of Constantin Brancusi a copy which caused a scandal in the Salon des Indépendants of 1920, when it had been " refusé" under conditions similar to the Salon d'antin organised by André Salmon and Paul Poiré? I saw this sculpture during the installation and then it seems to have disappeared from this exhibition
