Built in the 17th century in the Louis XIII style, the Château de Chamarande has become an atypical heritage and cultural site with its different spaces: the Goose Game, the Orangery and the irregularly shaped "island"... Contemporary art exhibitions are held there all year round and, from May to October, events are held around the themes of gardens and heritage, as well as festivals of storytelling, music, dance, cinema... The works always represent a dialogue between current art, built and landscape heritage. It also houses the Departmental Archives.
