History: the Miellerie du Gâtinais opened in 2008, in the heart of the Gâtinais natural park, thanks to Camille and Thierry Sergent. Their production is varied: forest, chestnut, acacia, heather or lime tree honey, royal jelly, acacia-vanilla honey (a huge success!), sweets, gingerbread, pollen, propolis, cosmetics, candles... You can even buy your honey in bulk. It's cheaper and more ecological.

Camille and Thierry Sergent are passionate and militant, as always with beekeepers, they manage a herd of several hundred hives to produce quality honey and colonies of bees. They are also keen to introduce groups, from 3 years old to professionals, to the world of plants, insects and beekeeping, using a structured educational programme. In addition, they are developing a humanitarian action on the island of Socotra, in Yemen, in the West Bank, by working for the protection of the environment through the learning of rational beekeeping and by participating in reforestation actions in desertified areas.

Visit: the free visit to an insect breeding room will not fail to fascinate you. In the spotlight: ladybirds, cockchafer beetles, grasshoppers or locusts, and of course bees whose work you can admire through a transparent hive. You will also discover the backstage of honey and its circuit. You can even follow a beekeeper training course.

Martine Verrechia has been developing a concept for several months around the production of terrines and soups. In the morning, she goes to meet local producers and makes her products in the process. Martine Verrechia then offers a wide variety of soups and veloutés, as well as hot and cold terrines. Depending on the season, her production varies. An artisanal production of very high quality and very often of great originality, do not miss to come and discover all her wonders!
