Notre-Dame-des-Flots Chapel in Sainte-Adresse, in colourful neo-Gothic style with high altar, comprising nave and 2 transepts
This pretty chapel dates back to 1859, and is part of a tradition in which sailors place their fate under the benevolent gaze of the Virgin Mary. Abbé Duval-Pirou was responsible for the chapel’s construction, but its final completion dates from 1861. The chapel comprises a nave and two transepts, in a colourful neo-Gothic style. The feast of the Assumption, on 15th August, is an occasion for pilgrimage. There’s a lovely view of the Seine estuary and the chapel garden.

Cette petite chapelle dédiée aux marins qui ont péris en mer se mérite car elle se situe dans les hauteurs de Ste Adresse à coté du Pain de Sucre (à 500 mètres de la Plage)., superbe vue sur la mer.
