Located in the heart of the city centre, opposite the church, the Chapeau Rouge is a simple brasserie, but with an effective recipe, since the restaurant is always full. Correct prices, quality cuisine, it didn't take much more than that for the establishment to be successful. This is a good address for lunch in Neufchâtel, during a lunch break, between two appointments or before getting back on the road. The culinary experience may not revolutionize your life, but the dishes are usually hearty, the staff is friendly and, most importantly, the service is fast. As an added bonus, the establishment has the advantage of being open on Mondays and offers a good selection of draught beers.
